Where are your engineers located?

We have a nationwide network of engineers all over the UK. No matter where you are based, we aim to get an engineer, electrician, or plumber out to you for a same-day or next-day appointment with no problem.

Why isn't there any power to the extractor fan?

The first thing to check is that it is plugged into a power outlet, or it is switched on. If there is no power to the extractor fan may be that a breaker or a fuse has tripped.

What brands of extractor fans can you repair?

There are very few brands we cannot repair. Take a look at our appliance brand page for more information.

Why isn't my fan coming on with the switch?

This may be down to a faulty motor, that will need to be replaced. Contact Go Assist to have your fan operating like new in no time.

Why isn't the fan clearing smoke from the area

If your extractor fan is switched to high and is still not clearing the smoke away the filters may be clogged with grease. To clean your filter all you’ll need to do is remove the filter and clean it in hot grease removing soapy water. If this doesn’t work, one of our expert engineers is on hand to fix any of your extractor fans needs.

Why is my extractor fan making strange loud noises?

If your fan is making loud strange noises it could be the sign of your fans are covered in grease. To remove this grease you can use a solution of soap and hot water.  

Why are my extractor fan lights not working?

Similarly, to regular lightbulbs, extractor fan lights can burn out, check that your lightbulbs aren’t burnt out if they are your lightbulbs may need to be replaced.

Why is my extractor fan keypad unresponsive?

If the keypad is unresponsive it may need to be replaced. Contact Go Assist today to have your keypad running like new in no time.

Is it better to just replace my broken appliance?

No! Your appliances have a minimum lifespan of 10 years. Don’t throw away money on a new appliance when one of our experts can repair it quickly and affordably.
