What fridge repairs can you help with?

Why is my fridge not cooling?
  • Check that the doors are closed securely

Why is my fridge so loud?

This is often the sign of a dirty compressor. These may need to be cleaned or even replaced. Contact Go Assist today.

Why is my refrigerator is too cold?

This could be due to a number of reasons including:

  • Dirty clogged vents
  • Defrost issue
  • Incorrect settings
  • Airflow issues
My refrigerator is leaking what can I do?
  • There may be an issue with the door seal

Wipe down the door seals to remove any debris that could be stopping the doors from closing properly. 

  • An issue with the ice maker

Your ice maker could be leaking, our experts are on hand to give your icemaker a thorough look over to ensure there aren’t any cracks or alternative issues.

  • Faulty drain pan

Your drain pan could be full of water and therefore overspilling. To check if this is happening remove the drain pan, empty and wash with warm water, place the drain pan back into the fridge full of water if it continues to leak there is most likely a crack and will need to be replaced. To prevent any further issues from occurring get the help of an expert technician.

How do I change the lightbulb in my refrigerator?

The first thing to do is switch the fridge off at the mains, remove the contents and leave it to defrost.

To remove the bulb from the fridge you’ll need to twist the bulb anti-clockwise to release the lightbulb from its socket. Replace the bulb by rotating it clockwise until securely in place. Reconnect to the mains to check the bulb lights up.
