At Go Assist our installers have a simple and effective and 3 step process to get your EV charger hooked up with ease with some of the most competitive prices in the electric vehicle industry.

1. Book your appointment over the phone or online with our experts, who will discuss the type of charger you are looking to install, where you would like the charger placed, and your charger’s capacity.

2. Our installers get to work. We’ll send our friendly, knowledgeable installer to your home on the date and time you agreed to. They’ll fit and test your charge point and demonstrate how It works for you.

3. Our installer will then fit your EV charge point in your chosen location, running a hidden cable to the charger and connect to your electricity supply.

4. Plug and charge. Your charger will have been successfully installed by our fitters. We will ensure it's working and check the connection between the charger and the charge point. From this point forward, you’re then free to plug in and charge up your car.

How to prepare for an EV charge point installation

• Make sure there is clear access to your electricity meter. Our installers will need to access this to fit your charge point.
• Remove any obstacles from areas where cables may need to be laid by our fitters, this can help save time and ensure your installation is a lot smoother and more efficient.

Is my home suitable for a charge point?

It’s important that for our installers to successfully install a charge point you have the following.

• Off street parking
• A garage or driveway
• Private electricity supply
• Permission from your landlord (if you rent)
