Where are your engineers located?

We have a nationwide network of engineers all over the UK. No matter where you are based, we aim to get an engineer, electrician, or plumber out to you for a same-day or next-day appointment with no problem.

How often should I change my vacuum cleaner bag?

Most vacuum cleaner brands recommend you change your vacuum cleaner bag every three months.

What other services do you offer other than repairs?

Why won’t my vacuum cleaner turn on?

This could be due to a lack of power, ensure the power chord is securely connected to the wall. Alternatively, the wires or motor in the vacuum cleaner may have broken and may need replacing

Is it better to just replace my broken appliance?

No! Your appliances have a minimum lifespan of 10 years. Don’t throw away money on a new appliance when one of our experts can repair it quickly and affordably.  

How do I prevent a clogged vacuum cleaner?

Clogs are commonly caused by loose change getting stuck in the hose or even socks or other larger items being sucked up in the holes. To prevent any clogs in your vacuum cleaner, make sure not to hoover any large objects and check the surfaces you are cleaning before vacuuming over them.

Why has my vacuum cleaner suction stopped working?

This could be due to several reasons including a tangled brush bar, clogged filter, overflowing dust container.

Why does my vacuum smell?

Vacuum cleaners remove dirt and debris however, as the dirt accumulates unpleasant odours could be released. Vacuum cleaners often need some TLC. To clean your vacuum cleaner:

  • Wipe the exterior with warm soapy water and a cloth.
  • For bagless vacuums wash the canister with warm soapy water.
  • Remove your vacuum cleaner filter and wash in warm water and mild detergent.
  • Ensure both the canister and filter are completely dry before placing them back in the vacuum cleaner.
Why is my vacuum cleaner making a loud noise?

Your vacuum cleaner could be making a loud noise due to a dirty filter. To clean the filter remove it from the vacuum and wash it with warm soapy water until the water runs clear.
